James “Jim” Driggs grew up in Hanover County, VA and is a distinguished graduate of the Virginia Military Institute. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Richmond. While in law school, Jim served as class president, wrote for the Journal of Law and Technology and worked as a research assistant for prominent criminal law and civil law professors.

Mr. Driggs is a general practice attorney and skilled litigator. He routinely argues contract disputes, landlord/tenant conflicts, debt collection claims, assists with estate administration/probate and defends ticket tickets, misdemeanor and felony charges. Jim is a certified real estate settlement attorney and competent preparer of all deeds, contracts, corporate/business documents, Living Trusts, Last Will & Testaments, Powers of Attorney, and Advance Medical Directives. He also has experience handling misconduct claims and disciplinary actions filed through the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR), the local public-school systems and Virginia colleges/universities.

Jim is an active member and past President of the Hanover Bar Association.  He volunteers his time each Spring presenting the “So You Are 18” program to the Hanover County senior class and Parent Teacher Organizations (PTO).  When Jim is not working, he serves as an Instructor for the SEALTeam Physical Training program (“Hoo Yah!”) and is a dedicated husband and father.
